Welcome to Midwest Poker League. If you like to play Texas Hold'em poker and are looking to sharpen your skills, you can have a chance at winning tens of thousands of dollars maybe even MILLIONS, then you are in the right place. The purpose of this league is to provide entertainment for Texas Hold'em enthusiasts at no cost to the players. We welcome players that are interested in learning the game in hopes of making you a better player. All you need to do is bring your skills and we provide the rest.
Each season we send the best of the best to play in major tournaments all over the country. We have sent players to play in the World Series of Poker, Canterbury Park's Fall Poker Classic, The Mid-States Poker Tour and other tournaments. Players earn their seats just by playing poker with us. You have the shot at winning thousands even millions just by having a good time playing in a live poker setting.
Before you get started we would like to give you a little information on how the league works and what you need to know to be successful with Midwest Poker League. On numerous nights of the week, a different location will be holding our tournament in which each player will sign in and sign out when eliminated. If you win a night, then will automatically win a seat to the Tournament of Champions and a shot at the Grand Prize(s). Auto-Qualifiers will receive a bonus of 500 chips to the TOC with each win. You will accumlate points during the season. These points are for contest purposes and a second chance at the Tournament of Champions. If you have the most points at the end of the season at a location with NO WINS you will win a seat to the Tournament of Champions (no bonus chips). We also keep track of points for contest purposes. If you have the most points at a single location at the end of the season you can win a casino gift card. If you have the most overall points in the league you will win an even larger casino gift card or a casino prize package.
There is also an addons and a rebuy program. When players purchase a $10 gift certificate from the location, Midwest Poker League will reward the player with 1000 additional chips for the game. Unlimited Addons and a Second Chance Rebuy are available before the tournament and the first hour of play including the 15 minute break.
