Do we get anything if we get a bar interested to agree to a night of poker?
Yes. Midwest Poker League reward people with a one time finders fee of 10% of the sale. If a place signs up based on your recomendation, we offer you 10% of sale. We will cut you a check half way through the signed contract. Finders fees can range between $48-$96.
How often do you update results?
We update results within 24 hours of recieving them. It is the responisbility of the Tournament Hosts to submit the results to the league office. If you don't see your results its because the tournament host has not sent the poker results to us.
I had two addons not on the table. Went all in on a call. Lost. Pulled the addons out before call. When i lost they told me I couldn't use addons. Legal or not?
Players must keep all chips and cards on the table and visible at all times. (except when transfering to another table) If a player has chips in their pocket those chips are dead and have no value.
In this promotion is it 15% or 30% that go to the Regional Tournament?
The difference between the top 15% and the top 30% is the length each location has Midwest Poker this each season. If a location has 6 or less weeks of poker, only the top 15% qualify for the Regional Tournament. If a Location has 7 or more weeks of poker the top 30% will advance to the regional tournament.
How does the scoring sheet work?
Points are based on the number of players that night. We use a seperate point system depending on the number of players.
What is Midwest Poker League?
Midwest Poker League was officially founded in February of 2010. Unofficially we were conducting market research as early as November of 2009. The purpose of our league is to offer FREE entertainment of playing LIVE Texas holdem. Much like playing free poker at an online website such as Full Tilt, we offer the experience of playing against real people. We offer great prizes such as trips to Vegas, entries into large poker tournaments and additional prizes.
Are there a minimum number of times I have to play at a location?
No. You can play whenever, where ever and as often as you want. The more you play and the more locations you play only increase your chances of winning prizes.
Do my points add up by playing at multiple locations?
No. A player accumulates points at each individual location.
What is the benefit of playing multiple locations?
There are three benefits to playing at multiple locations.
1. You earn additional chips by winning nights, and being in the top 20% at all locations
2. If you win a night you earn 200 bonus chips for the Regional Tournament, if you win overall at a location you earn 350 bonus chips, if you finish in the top 10 percent you earn 250 bonus chips, if you finish in the top 11-20 percent you earn 150 bonus chips. Players must finish top 10-20 percent to qualify for a Regional Tournament. If you qualify for a Regional Tournament your bonus chips will be added to your initial stack.
3. Increase your chances of qualifying for the Regional Tournament, to use those additional chips.
Example: Say you win 2 nights during the season at 2 different locations. At one location you finish first place for the season and the other location you did not make the top 20%. All of your bonus chips add up.

How often can I purchase addons?
During regular season play, a player may purchase addon's ONE AT A TIME or as needed during the first hour including first break. Player etiquette should be considered when purchasing additional addons. Some players get irritated if you have to buy your win. During a Regional Tournament strict rules are enforced when purchasing addons. Players may purchase 1 initial addon, and 1 addon per blind until break NOT including break. (You may purchase your initial addon and your first blind addon at the same time)
If I cannot make it to a Regional Tournament can I send someone in my place?
No. You have earned your seat to a Regional Tournament and so have others. It would be unfair to have someone else take your place.
When do results get updated?
Results are updated as soon as we get them. Locations are responsible for submitting results to us so we can update the website.
