Next Season Preview

Welcome everyone to our 9th season of Midwest Poker League. In years past we have sent people to Canterbury Park's Fall Poker Classic in some capacity. Our first year we sent 1 player to the Main Event. Our second year we sent 4 people up, one mega event seat and 3 minor seat events. This year We are sending 1 player to the Main Event and 2 players to Minor Events. Both of these tournaments will be for winning MONEY not another seat to another tournament. We do not have the tournament dates as of yet. But we will keep everyone informed once they are published.

2nd and 3rd place will have their choice of going to Event #2 or Event #9 (Player #22 is our own David Radtke who won at regionals last year)

Many people like the new format and we are sticking with it. There will be two adjustments to next season. The first adjustment which isn't really an adjustment but more of an addition is, Contest prizes such as the gift cards may be from a casino, retail stores such as Walmart or Target, or a gas station such as Kwik Trip. We will work with these vendors to increase the quanity or demoniation of the gift cards to make playing with us more enjoyable.

Tournament of Champion Chips structure will change starting next season. Starting next season, 25% of your TOTAL points will determine your TOC chips (rounding to nearest 25). Players will receive zero chips per win. Your total points will determine how many bonus chips you will be awarded. The more often you play and the better you do, will determine your bonus chips. Players must qualify first to receive their bonus TOC chips.
